This coming Monday, I’ll be part of an open mic fundraiser for Congressional candidate Steve Harrison, who is seeking to oust the odious Vito Fossella, a strong Repugnant supporter of Dubya’s idiotic policies.
It’s all happening Monday night, June 12, at The (formerly Muddy) Cup, 388 Van Duzer Street in Stapleton.
The evening will be hosted by SI singer-songwriter Caroline Cutroneo and I’m sure a stellar cast of SI (and Brooklyn) musicians will be there. Sign-up is at 6:30 and performances are from 7-10.
There’s a $50 minimum donation but all of it will go to defeating one of the worst politicians in the area, someone who has been misrepresenting New York City for far too long. Full details of his record here.
