If Bob Dylan can take a Muddy Waters song, change the words, and put his own name on it, then he should have no problem with “Mr. Tampering Man,” my latest song. It may bear some resemblance to certain older songs, but as part of the “folk tradition” I feel entitled to borrow and re-interpret as I see fit.
