Intersection of Main Street and Church Street, Goshen, NY, Monday evening about 7 p.m. It looks beautiful, but in this town on Monday night there is literally nowhere to eat; ask for suggestions and you’ll be sent to Chester, about ten miles east.
Across the street from the office where I’m working (Campbell Hall, about seven miles west of Goshen), there’s a historical marker commemorating a landmark event in the town’s history. I pass it when I walk from the office to one of the two convenience stores in town, so I finally stopped and took a photo.
